Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Seneca, an AI talent manager for content creators, currently offered as a free private beta. By creating an account or connecting your Google account, you agree to them.

The service

Seneca connects to the Gmail account you authorize, identifies brand partnership conversations, and helps you triage them, draft replies, and track deals, deliverables, and invoices. Seneca is in beta: features may change, break, or be removed, and access may be limited or paused while we build.

Your account

• You must connect only a Google account that you own and control.
• You are responsible for activity that happens through your account.
• During the beta, Google access expires roughly every seven days and must be reconnected. This is a limitation of Google's testing mode, not a choice Seneca made.

AI-generated content

• Seneca prepares drafts, summaries, and classifications with AI. They can be wrong. Review everything before you act on it.
• Nothing is sent from your email unless you explicitly press send. Once you send a message, it is yours: you are responsible for its contents.
• Rate figures shown as "Estimate" are heuristics computed from numbers you provide. They are not market data and not advice. Deal terms are your decision.

Your content

You own your data: your emails, files, deal records, and profile. You grant Seneca permission to process them only as needed to operate the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can export or delete everything at any time from Settings.

Acceptable use

Do not use Seneca to break the law, to send spam or deceptive messages, to infringe others' rights, or to probe or disrupt the service. Use of Gmail through Seneca must also comply with Google's terms.

Disclaimers

Seneca is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Seneca does not guarantee that it will find every relevant email, that classifications or drafts are accurate, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error free.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Seneca's total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim. The beta is free, so that amount is currently zero. Seneca is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost deals, lost revenue, or lost data.

Termination

You can stop using Seneca and delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or end beta access at any time, including for breach of these terms. On account deletion, your data is removed as described in the Privacy Policy.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the product evolves; updates are posted on this page with a new effective date. Continuing to use Seneca after a change means you accept it. Questions: dmitri.cherner@gmail.com.
